Col progetto solista Grip Casino dal 2008 esplora la forma canzone ed altre elaborazioni minimali in musica. Gli aspetti e le influenze, che ricorrono e si contraddicono, nelle sue composizioni vanno dal no audience pop al noise, dal post punk fino al folk popolare. Un linguaggio in movimento di anti rock situazionista e performativo.

“Si tratta di un disco di canzoni. L’obiettivo è quello di riuscire a presentarle col giusto numero di elementi in gioco. Affrontare l’ascolto in modo diretto. I brani sono ridotti all’osso e vivono in funzione dei testi, a volte possono sembrare troppo scontenti, oppure troppo soffocanti, ma l’intenzione non è assolutamente quella. Ho provato ad utilizzare il modo più naturale di raccontare alcune cose.” GC.
